Terms & Conditions

CCRL T/A Commercial Appliances Direct is a supplier of commercial appliances/refrigeration and catering equipment to commercial businesses. Every sale is a business to business contract.

These terms and conditions shall be incorporated into all contracts between us (Commercial Appliances Direct) and you (the customer).

Goods being sold

Products on the website are subject to availability as stock changes on a daily basis. Product images are for illustration purposes and are subject to change by the manufacturer at any time without prior notice. If unsure please contact us to clarify any queries.


You (the customer) is fully responsible for ensuring that the terms of the order are complete and accurate.

The order shall only be accepted if confirmed in writing in return to you (the customer). Orders recieved after 12pm will count as the next working day. All delivery dates vary based on manufacturer, product and area of delivery. Some may take longer than others.

We reserve the right to cancel any order at any time. We will inform you of any actions taken in advance and refund any monies owed.

A quotation for the goods is not an official contract. If unsure please contact us.

The company shall supply the goods to the customer in accordance with the agreement. The agreement shall commence on the date of receipt by the company of confirmation from the customer that the customer wishes to proceed with the order.

Prices and payment

All prices are subject to the addition of VAT at the standard applicable rate. Prices are subject to change at any time with no prior notice.
Payment of all monies shall be paid in Sterling and paid for before delivery of goods.


Delivery dates vary dependant on manufacturer. All delivery dates are approximate only. We cannot guarantee any delivery dates unless an additional charge for this service is requested at the time of order.

If you (the customer) fail to take delivery of the goods on the date of delivery, an aborted delivery cost will apply and will be passed on to you (the customer). These costs are on average £80 plus vat for a failed delivery. These charges could be higher dependant on product item and location of delivery.

Delivery is kerbside ONLY unless otherwise specified at the time of order. Additional costs will be applicable for this service. Please check with Commercial Appliances Direct.

Orders for Islands, Highlands, Ireland and remote areas are subject to an additional charge for delivery and extending lead times, again dependant on product and manufacturer. Areas excluded are PA PH KW IV AB ZE TR PL TQ BT IM & THE ISLE OF WIGHT

You (the customer) will be fully responsible for ensuring clear and safe access at the time of delivery. Should there be any restrictions, we must be informed prior as charges may apply to you (the customer).

We can request a booking in call prior to delivery and we can request a phone call on the day before arrival. Commercial Appliances Direct cannot be held responsible if this does not occur.

Dependant on the product we offer a FREE NEXT WORKING DAY DELIVERY (UK Mainland) on certain items. Please check with us if unsure.

Other Items can also be delivered NEXT DAY for an additional cost. Dependant on manufacturer and size of unit. Prices vary based on size and weight. Please check with Commercial Appliances Direct if unsure.

You (The customer) must ensure you have the adequate space and have measured door sizes and have clear access for delivery. If there are steps on site or any other restrictions which may require stair walkers etc you must inform us prior to delivery as there will be an additional cost for this service (dependant on manufacturer and product). It is your responsibility (the customer) to ensure the item(s) are a satisfactory size and will fit on site.
Commercial Appliances Direct cannot be held responsible for any issues which involve site access, low bridges, pedestrianized zones and narrow roads. If unsure please contact us.

Please do not arrange for installers of the equipment to be on site before the order has arrived. Commercial Appliances Direct cannot be held responsible for any costs involved due to a delayed delivery, installers fees and or any other costs.


Any goods incorrectly ordered by the customer or goods the customer wishes to return will incur a charge. This constitutes a standard minimum charge of 25% of the value of the item and a transport fee for collection. Prices will vary on product and manufacturer.

Any special order items cannot be cancelled once ordered and cannot be returned under any circumstances.

Goods can only be returned if unused and in the original packaging.

Notifications of any goods that need to be returned or damaged must be reported to Commercial Appliances Direct within 24 hours of delivery. Items must be inspected and checked thoroughly for any potential damage or damage to the packaging. If damage does occur, this must be signed for damaged and reported to us immediately.


All warranties provided with equipment are operated by the manufacturers for a specified time period depending on product.

Important Notes

Warranty is invalidated if non approved technicians have carried out repairs to the warranty equipment. Incorrect use and use of equipment other than for its designated purposes invalidates the warranty. Lack of routine maintenance. Condensers should be cleaned every month, water systems on Icemakers should be cleaned every 6 months.

Labour warranty exceptions

Calls to site where No fault is found; general misuse, abuse and site issues and cabinet location; general cleaning and maintenance; damage caused by movement within premises or relocation; blocked drains; defective power source or use of extension sockets; incorrect power source; following repair by an unauthorised party; general refurbishment. 
Regular maintenance must be carried out in accordance with the manufacturer’s specification, the cleaning instructions must be adhered to. 

Certain parts will not be covered under warranty. Door seals/gaskets, bulbs and elements are wear and tear therefore not covered. Check with us if unsure.

If in any event of breakdown/failure of a unit supplied within the warranty period you must inform Commercial Appliances Direct. After the warranty expires any parts or labour will be chargeable.


Commercial Appliances Direct accepts no liability for any losses howsoever caused as a result of the failure of equipment covered by this agreement, any loss of earnings due to any equipment being suppled faulty/damaged, developing a fault or deliveries failing or being delayed.


This website is owned by Commercial Appliances Direct.


As a distributor of Commercial Appliances/Refrigeration and Catering equipment, we offer a collection and disposal service at the end of the equipment life cycle. An additional charge will be applicable for this service.
